ABOUT ASIAN MUSIC TECHNOLOGY

Asian Music Technology (AMT) was set up in January 2018 in Singapore as a non-profit organization, with the objective of pioneering musical instrument-making technics, improving the acoustics and performance of Asian musical instruments, and eventually contributing to traditional music culture and heritage in an innovative, scientific and sustainable way.                  

We achieve our goals through:   

a)Academic research and also developmental projects   

b)Targeted outreach programs such as educational seminars for the music community, instrument demonstrations and concert performances 

c)Building a shared platform connecting the international community who are also interested in contributing to Asian Musical Instruments.
